A long time ago, a reservoir was planned here but this did not eventuate due to the composition of the soil. The inhabitants however, had already left by then leaving a lot of possessions.
Result: a nearly empty village where even during the daytime there is a spooky atmosphere. In most houses you can see the deserted belongings and house hold goods, some concrete structures are in danger of collapsing and a lot is overgrown. The vines at some places grow through the concrete.
The structure of the village is very nice though, small streets, rows of houses, small alleys with stairs going up and down. There are still a dozen or so inhabitants who never left and are living on the outskirts of the village.
